The RSCM’s ‘A Sequence for Ascension’ will be held in St Anne’s Cathedral, Belfast, on Saturday May 21.

The event will start at 2pm with a rehearsal of the music to be performed, with registration from 1.30pm. It will be directed by David Stevens, Master of the Choristers at St Anne’s.

Music being sung will include Ye choirs of new Jerusalem (Stanford), God is gone up (Finzi), The Spirit of the Lord (Elgar) and Listen sweet dove (Ives). A liturgical service with the cathedral choir will take place after the rehearsal.
