The Dean of Belfast helps organisers andperformers launch the WelcomeFest at St Anne’s on June 23.

St Anne’s Cathedral hosts a free concert on Thursday June 23 to culture and diversity during Refugee Week 2016.

Organised by The British Red Cross, Belfast Friendship Club and the Northern Ireland Community of Refugees and Asylum Seekers (NICRAS) in conjunction with Belfast Cathedral, the Welcome Fest has the theme Different Pasts, Shared Future.

Confirmed acts include Donna Namukasa, Heidi Heidelberg and Maurizio Velezsierra, Fiona O’Kane and Frances Mitchell, Julius Mitchells and Indian dancers.

There will be children’s activities both inside and outside the Cathedral, and other special guests.

The event has the support of Wheelworks, Beyond Skin, Love Music Hate Racism and the SOS Bus.

This is a child friendly event, so please bring the whole family! Doors open at 7pm.
