It is essential that you are a committed follower of Jesus Christ who has a passion and gifting for leading worship.

We are looking for a talented and experienced musician to creatively grow and develop the music/worship at Holy Trinity Woodburn, Carrickfergus.  There is a well-established praise band, and we seek to build on the solid foundations laid over the past 25 years.  The music director will be answerable to the rector.  Their responsibility will be to choose the music for a Sunday morning service, and special services during the church year.  They will be expected to lead rehearsals on Wednesday evening and Sunday morning prior to the weekly service of worship. 

It would be desirable if they had experience of leading musicians and singers in a modern worship setting.  It is essential that they can play an instrument to a high standard and are able to write scores and parts, using music software, for the different parts of the band.  Good interpersonal skills and leadership ability are important in building the praise team into a cohesive team.

Hours – 12 per week.  Remuneration: £15 per hour.
