Carrickfergus parishioner has key role in MECO

Wednesday November 8th 2006

Don Howe, a member of St Nicholas Parish Church in Carrickfergus, has been appointed Ireland representative of Middle East Christian Outreach.
Having worked in banking and the financial services industry for many years, Don used his skills as a local TearFund representative and in a wide range of activities in church life.
Don now responds to God’s call to inform churches and interest groups of the opportunities for the church in Ireland to support and encourage the church in the Middle East. He will shortly visit the region to gain first-hand knowledge of the situation.
Don affirms MECO’s role in partnering with Middle East churches and is eager to visit churches, prayer groups, women’s groups, men’s fellowships and student unions to bring an awareness of needs and opportunities for service.
Don can be contacted through the Belfast Office at 279 Woodstock Road, Belfast BT6 8PR or email info@twoffice.co.uk.
