Four Commissioned Ministers appointed in Ahoghill
Four members of St Colmanell's, Ahoghill, have been appointed as Commissioned Ministers in Ahoghill Parish.
Canon Stuart Lloyd, Rural Dean of Ballymena, conducted the act of commissioning during the parish's All-Age Celebration on Sunday February 17. The four are: Steven Potter (Evangelism and Outreach), Louie Burnside (Ladies Ministry), Jo Loney (Evangelism and Outreach) and Kenneth Robinson (Prayer Ministry).
Commenting on the commissioning scheme within Connor Diocese, the Rev Mark Loney, rector of St Colmanell’s, welcomed its entirely Biblical basis of all member ministry and looked forward to this first step in establishing a full Pastoral team covering a range of ministries within the Ahoghill and Portglenone group of Parishes.
