Embrace mission in Ballyclare and Ballynure
St John’s Parish Church, Ballyclare, and Christ Church Parish, Ballynure, are holding a nine day mission starting on Saturday April 19.
Embrace 08 will embrace faith in a week of exploration through a variety of events. At each event there will be fun, fellowship and an explanation of the Christian faith.
Family events include a barn dance, songs of praise service with Ballynure Primary School choir,
For the grown ups there is a mind, body and soul ladies night, a question of sport, business lunch, bowling, old time dancing, health advice, salsa dancing, and a wee night out for couples.
For the younger generations there is a youth football championships, magic show, karting and paint balling, and a Saturday night project for teenagers.
Special services include bring a friend morning services, a coping with loss service, and a healing service and Holy Communion.

The mission is being led by the Rev Paul Hoey (CPAS), the Rev Paul Woodman (Southampton) and Roger Murphy (Through Faith Missions), a well known team within the Church of Ireland.
