A taste of Sudan for visiting Bishop of Yei
During their visit to Connor Diocese earlier this month, Bishop Hilary of Yei and his wife Mama Joyce were guests at a lunch organised by CMSI.
The Eat Less – Pay More lunch took place on Thursday April 3, and was a fundraiser for CMS Ireland.
Guests who attended were supporting CMSI’s work in local and global mission. They also had a unique opportunity to hear about the ministry and mission of the Diocese of Yei directly from the Bishop.
Under the Eat Less – Pay More concept – a genuine Sudan style lunch was provided, courtesy of Jenny Smyth, a CMSI mission partner formerly based in Yei. Guests were invited to eat less and contribute more than they would normally spend on your lunch.
