Bishop Alan Abernethy is leading a series on seminars on the subjects of Worship and Suffering. The Bishop of Connor, the Rt Rev Alan Abernethy, led the last  of his seminars on Worship in Dunluce Parish Centre, Bushmills, on Monday March 9.

More than 180 people attended to hear the Bishop address the subject :  What is worship? Why do we worship? What is Anglican worship? It also looked at different forms of worship.

The Bishop has already delivered this seminar in St Peter’s Church, Belfast, when 220 came to listen, and in Antrim Parish Hall when there were more than 190 in the crowd.

Bishop Alan will now return to all three venues for the second seminar in this Equipping the Saints series which addresses Suffering.  Why we suffer is the question that haunts everyone. Bishop Alan says: “The great difficulty is that there appears to be no specific answer but there may be some signposts.”

These seminars will be held on the following dates: March 18 – St Peter’s Parish Hall, Antrim Road, Belfast; March 24 – Antrim Parish Hall; April 1 – Dunluce Parish Centre, Bushmills.
