Former chaplain to be commissioned as Crosslinks team leader
The Rev Trevor Johnston, former chaplain to the University of Ulster at Jordanstown and Belfast and curate of St Patrick’s Parish, Jordanstown, has been appointed Ireland team leader for Crosslinks.
Mr Johnston will be commissioned by the international mission agency on Friday January 22 in St Saviour’s Church, Dollingstown at 7.45pm.
Mr Johnston has been in post since September 2009. He is married to Joy and the couple has four young daughters.
The Rt Rev Wallace Benn, Bishop of Lewes, is the guest speaker at the service and will also speak the following day at a conference hosted by Crosslinks, again in Dollingstown, entitled ‘Him we proclaim’.
