Archbishop of York delivers Queen’s Theological Lectures

Archbishop John Sentamu.The Archbishop of York, the Most Rev John Sentamu, will deliver the annual Church of Ireland Theological Lectures at Queen’s University.

On Monday February 1 at 5.30pm he will speak on the topic ‘Conflict and Reconciliation: A Theological Perspective.’

The following day, again at 5.30pm, Archbishop Sentamu will deliver ‘A Ugandan Perspective on Mission.’

The lectures will take place in the David Kier Building at Queen’s University. This is a public lecture but places should be booked in advance by ringing Tanya on 028 9066 7754

On Sunday night, January 31, the Archbishop of York will join the Evangelical Alliance Northern Ireland for a special evening to kick off the Kingdom Come conference. 

'An audience with Dr John Sentamu' takes place at 8.30pm in Spires Conference Centre, Belfast, and will be hosted by UTV’s Paul Clark.

Stephen Cave, Evangelical Alliance Northern Ireland National Director said: “We’re very honoured to have the Archbishop of York here. It’s a perfect way for us to start off the Kingdom Come conference, where Christians from several denominations will be able to hear a wide range of excellent speakers.”
