Clergy who attended the retreat in Co Durham.Twenty two clergy from Connor Diocese travelled to Minsteracres in Co. Durham from June 7-10 for the Diocesan Clergy Retreat.

They were joined by Bishop Andy John, Bangor Diocese, Church in Wales, who gave three excellent inputs on grace, worship and service. He was very insightful in opening the scriptures and relating to day to day ministry.

Highlights of the time together included a service in St Mary’s Church on Holy Island, a visit to Durham Cathedral and, much to the disgust of the locals, winning the local At the Minsteracres Retreat are, from left to right; the Rev Robert Simpson (Portrush), Peter Hamill (Connor Diocesan Training Co-ordinator), Bishop Andy John (Bangor Diocese), the Rev Peter McDowell (Portrush).pub quiz (prize money donated to the Tour de Connor).
