Energize initiatives will take youth ministry forward in Connor
Energize – the project aiming to re-energize youth work in Connor Diocese – has announced a series of initiatives aimed at both young people and their leaders.
Get Connected is a network scheme to help leaders take youth ministry forward. Meetings will be held in Dunluce Parish, Bushmills, on Thursday September 16; Jordanstown Parish on Tuesday September 21 and Ballymacash Parish on Monday September 27. All meetings start at 7.30pm.
The popular Energize event itself is back on Sunday November 7 in St Patrick’s Parish Hall, Ballymena, from 6.30pm. This is a night for young people and leaders from across the diocese to come together to worship and be inspired.
Refresh the Soul on Tuesday March 29 2011 is an opportunity for leaders to join forces and be refreshed in their vision and heart for youth work in the diocese, and this will take place at Antrim Parish Centre at 7.30pm.
Looking even further ahead, there are plans for an Energize Youth Camp over a weekend in February 2012. Venue and dates to be confirmed.
