Memorial Service for former Dean of Connor
A Memorial Service for the life of the Very Rev William Barr, former Dean of Connor, will take place in Christ Church, Derriaghy Road, Lisburn, on Sunday November 28.
Dean Barr, who was in his 91st year, died on October 19 at his home, Killeaton Crescent, Derriaghy. He is the dearly-beloved husband of Florence and much-loved father to Heather and the late Hilary.
The Very Rev William (Norman) Cochrane Barr was Dean of Connor from 1982 until 1990. The cremation on Friday October 22 was private. Donations in lieu of flowers may be sent, if desired, to Christ Church, Derriaghy, c/o Ronnie Thompson, Funeral directors, 20 Ballinderry Road, Lisburn, BT28 1UF.
The Memorial Service on November 28 begins at 3pm.
