Continuing Education Ministry Retreat in the Lake District
Rydal Hall in the English Lake District was the location for Connor Diocese’s 2012 Continuing Education in Ministry (CEM) retreat. The hall is the conference and Retreat Centre of the Diocese of Carlisle.
The Bishop of Connor, the Rt Rev Alan Abernethy, the Archdeacons of Belfast and Dalriada, and members of the Continuing Education in Ministry team joined curates from Connor Diocese for the annual retreat.
This year the guest speaker was the Rev Jonathan Carmyllie from the Diocese of Manchester, who will be a familiar name to many in Connor as he was joint leader of the 2011 diocesan pilgrimage to the Holy Land.
Clergy left for the Retreat on Monday April 23, returning on Thursday April 26.
