Events coming up in Connor Diocese during Advent

A list of special events taking place in Connor Diocese in the lead up to Christmas 2013.

From Dec 1 – Every Wednesday and Thursday 2–4pm – The unique knitted Christmas tree will be on display at Church of the Good Shepherd, Monkstown

December 5–10 – Christmas Tree Festival ‘The Journey to Bethlehem’ at Lisburn Cathedral. Opening hours Thursday/Friday 5/6 Dec – 11am to 9pm; Saturday 7 Dec – 10am to 8pm; Sunday 8 Dec – 2pm to 6pm; Monday/Tuesday 9/10 Dec – 11am to 9pm.

December 7 & 8 – Christmas Tree Festival, St Colman’s, Dervock (Opening hours 1–7pm on the Saturday and 1–5pm on Sunday).

Sunday December 8 @ 3.30pm – Connor Mothers’ Union Christingle Service in All Saints’ Parish, Antrim.

Sunday, 8th December – Nine Lessons and Carols in Saint Nicholas’ Lisburn Road, Belfast, at 11.00 am.

Saturday December 14 at 1pm – Impact Carrick’s Big Sing – Favourite Carols around the Market Place Christmas Tree in Carrickfergus

Monday, 16th December at 7.30 pm in Saint Nicholas’, Lisburn Road, Belfast – 
“Renaissance” will hold Nine Lessons and Carols by Candlelight. Director Ian Mills.

Sunday 22nd December – Christingle at 11.00 am in Saint Nicholas’ Lisburn Road, Belfast.
