Special Carol Service celebrates Linen Hall Library 225th anniversary

St Anne’s Cathedral is to be the venue for a special celebratory Christmas Carol Service arranged in conjunction with the Linen Hall Library on December19 at 6pm.

The Linen Hall Library was founded on 13th May 1788 and this service is part of the Library’s 225th anniversary celebrations. Readers will include: Michael Longley, Dame Mary Peters, Glenn Patterson, Roma Tomelty, John Erskine, Niamh Ryan, John Killen, Julie Andrews and Dan Gordon.

There is to be a solo instrumental setting of the Wexford Carol played by Neil Morton and the Cathedral Choir will also be taking part.

The Dean of Belfast, The Very Rev John Mann, extends a warm welcome to all who wish to attend.
