Training day on ‘Sustaining oneself in leadership’

Wednesday May 7th 2014

CPAS is hosting a training day on ‘Sustaining oneself in leadership’ on Thursday May 22 at Christ Church, Lisburn.

A previous event in March (‘Keeping watch over ourselves in leadership’) proved very popular with local church leaders. Comments from the participants included:

  • ‘It was very relevant to my situation and experience and helped me to think about a proactive approach.’
  • ‘So helpful and encouraging and practical.’
  • ‘It helped to identify my weakness as a leader in certain areas and I can now do something about it.’

Sustaining oneself in leadership will be looking at the nuts and bolts of good working patterns. Not all of us are organised by nature, but being organised enough ensures that the things that matter are the things that get done. This session, led by Graham Archer, will give lots of practical suggestions to help ministers give their best times and efforts to the things that matter most.

To book a place, please call the CPAS office on 0300 123 0780. Questions about this event should be directed to the Rev Paul Dundas on 07740 589465.
