Sun shines on fantastic youth weekend
Some of a large group of young people who attended Connor takes the Castle from Antrim Parish.
The sun shone on more than 110 young people and youth leaders who all had a fantastic time at the annual Connor takes the Castle Weekend.
The diocesan discipleship weekend for young people aged 11-18 took place at Castlewellan Castle from September 6-8.
Connor Youth Council put together a busy programme which included sessions led by The Big House; worship; small group time as well as outdoor activities including Soft Arrow Combat and Salt Factory Sports on the Saturday afternoon slot.
Activities also included a late night lake walk, discussion groups, the ever-popular Connor’s Got Talent, and lots of food and praise.
Well done to diocesan youth officer Christina Baillie and her team for putting together such a great weekend for Connor’s young people.
