Training for parents and those working with young people
Engage Connor Youth has announced it will be facilitating training events with Love for Life for parents of young people and youth leaders.
The Hashtags & Hormones programme aims to help equip parents and anyone who has contact with young people to deal with the ‘hot topics’ and to raise awareness about what’s happening in the lives of young people, tackling the tricky conversations around puberty, relationships, and sex.
Diocesan Youth Officer Christina Baillie said: “Love for Life’s Hashtags & Hormones programme is fantastic for parents of young people and very helpful for youth leaders too. We will also be sharing how our new resource Pursuit could be used in groups.”
Training will be run in two locations:
Tuesday March 1 in St Matthew’s Parish Church, Belfast, 7.30pm-9.30pm. Find out more and book your place HERE.
