Carolyn presents cheque to Hope House

Carolyn Moore, right, presents the £3,015 she raised through the coffee morning to Dawn McConnell from Hope House.

Carnmoney parishioner Carolyn Moore recently handed over a cheque for £3,015 to Hope House, a respite facility for adults with cancer, their carers and adult friends.

Carolyn, who received a cancer diagnosis last year, raised the money by organising a coffee morning in the church on October 8. We shared her moving story earlier this month.

Helping with the cheque presentation to Hope House are some of those involved in the coffee morning in Carnmoney Parish, from left to right: Heather Seeds, Shirley Earley, Jean Scott, Dawn McConnell from Hope House and Lynne Heber.
