Flashback – all the fun of the Castle!
The annual Connor Takes the Castle youth residential returns to the stunning surroundings of Castlewellan Castle, lake and forest park over the first weekend in October.
Sign-up for young people is open, with a closing date of Friday September 29 and the residential running from Friday October 6 until Sunday October 8.
The weekend is for young people aged 11-18. Speakers at this year’s event are Millie and Lawrence Bellew. Lawrence is Young People and Community Pastor at Hope Church, Craigavon, and Millie is Down and Dromore Diocesan Children’s Development Officer.
As usual, the schedule is action packed, with games, challenges and the opportunity to make friends with young people from other parishes. Saturday’s activities include a visit by Salt Factory Sports and a laser tag arena.
The cost is £60 for the full weekend and £20 for a day pass on the Saturday. No deposit is required, and payment can be brought to the event.
