The rector of Eglantine Parish, the Rev Jason Kernohan, presents Alison and David Leckey with a cheque for £1,423 in aid of Air Ambulance NI.
All Saints’, Eglantine, held a special service to give thanks for the work of Air Ambulance NI on Sunday September 3.
Alison Leckey, who is a volunteer as well as a parishioner, spoke to the children and adults about the work of the charity, and a special visitor made an appearance especially for the children!
Alison presented the children with knitted Air Ambulance teddies made by Sally McCambley, and they also received a few other little gifts.
After the service, lunch was provided by the ladies of the parish, and a collection raised £1,423 for Air Ambulance NI.
A special Air Ambulance NI visitor for the children at Eglantine.
