Canon Stephen Fielding attends Porvoo Conference

The Rev Canon Stephen Fielding, rector of St John’s, Malone, has been in Madrid as a Church of Ireland representative for the Porvoo Communion.
Stephen was appointed to this position by the Standing Committee of the Church of Ireland earlier this year.
He is in the company of the Archbishop of Dublin, the Most Rev Michael Jackson, co-chair of the Porvoo Contact Group (PCG).
The Madrid conference takes place over three days. The PCG meets the day before the Thematic Consultation begins and participates in it over the next two days.
The theme this year is ‘Life in the Eucharist / The Eucharistic life in our churches.’
