Ecclesiastical Insurance Ireland and its parent company, the Benefact Group, are giving away a further €500,000 to support charity projects that have a lasting impact on communities through the Movement for Good 2023 large grant awards.
The relocation of the contents of the offices of the Dioceses of Connor and Down and Dromore from Donegall Street to Titanic Quarter is currently taking place.
At the June meeting of the Down & Dromore and Connor Organ Scholarship Board of Management, thanks were extended to outgoing office bearers the Rev Canon John Auchmuty (St Columba’s, Knock) and Mr Gerald Hill.

Proposing the Report of Connor Diocesan Council to delegates at the 2023 Connor Synod held in St Patrick’s Parish, Ballymoney, Mrs Alberta Miskimmon said it was a ‘comprehensive report of a thriving, growing diocese.’
In a far-ranging Presidential Address to Diocesan Synod 2023, the Bishop of Connor, the Rt Rev George Davison, spoke about changes in the monarchy over the past year, Connor Clergy Conference and his vision for ‘Growing Healthy Churches.’
Congratulations to the Rev Tracey McRoberts, rector of St Matthew’s Parish, Belfast, and Rural Dean of Mid-Belfast, who was awarded an MBE in the King’s Birthday Honours for services to the community in Belfast.
Members of Connor’s Streetreach 2023 team were commissioned on Sunday June 18 during an engaging and joyful service held in St John the Baptist Parish Church, Ballyrashane.
