Installation of Canons in Lisburn Cathedral

Lisburn Cathedral’s two new Canons, the Rev Canon David Ferguson and the Rev Canon Andrew Sweeney, will be installed in the Chapter of St Saviour on Sunday March 9.
David is rector of Ramoan and Culfeightrin, and Andrew is rector of the United Parish of Ballymoney, Finvoy and Rasharkin.
Their appointments to the Chapter of Lisburn Cathedral were announced by Bishop of Connor, the Rt Rev George Davison, in January.

Bishop George said: “In addition to running busy, growing parishes in Ballycastle and Ballymoney, both have given additional service to the diocese.
“David has been a diligent rural dean for the Ballymena deanery for a number of years and Andrew serves as Chaplain to the Causeway Hospital.”
The Installation Service will take place in Lisburn Cathedral at 3.30pm on March 9.
