Renewal of vows at Maundy Thursday service
Clergy and Lay Readers from across Connor Diocese gathered at Belfast Cathedral on the morning of Maundy Thursday, April 17, at the invitation of Bishop George Davison for a service in which they renewed their ordination vows.
‘I have chosen you’ (John 15:16) took the form of a Service of Holy Communion, led by Bishop George who also preached. Readers were Mr John Williams and the Rev Canon Nigel Baylor. Organists were Jack Wilson and Finn Sloan.
Following the service, all present enjoyed a time of fellowship over refreshments provided by Connor Diocesan staff.
