New Ecumenical Canon installed in St Anne’s Cathedral

The Very Rev Martin Magill, Parish Priest of St John’s Parish, Falls Road, was installed as an Ecumenical Canon of St Anne’s Cathedral, Belfast, on Pentecost Sunday, May 24.

He joins the Rev Dr Janet Unsworth of the Methodist Church in Ireland and the Rev Dr Colin McClure of the Presbyterian Church as one of three Ecumenical Canons of the Cathedral.

The preacher at the service was the Rev Steve Stockman, Minister of Fitzroy Presbyterian Church, University Street, who, along with Fr Magill, co-founded the annual Four Corners Festival.
