New Harvest Resource – the Gran Chaco Sunday School Adventure
As part of Connor’s ongoing partnership with SAMS Ireland in support of the Church in Northern Argentina, a new Harvest Sunday School Resource is now available for parishes.
The Gran Chaco Sunday School Adventure is a three-session resource aimed at primary school aged children. It focuses on John chapter 6 verses 25-59 and the themes are provision, gratitude and generosity.
Through this resource, children will learn about life for families living in the remote Chaco region of Northern Argentina, a land of rich biodiversity and diverse indigenous peoples, but one which faces deep social and environmental challenges.
Connor Diocese first stepped out with SAMS Ireland in support of the Diocese of North Argentina during Lent this year, and the Council for Mission has pledged to continue the project through Harvest and potentially Advent.
