‘Band of Brothers’ share retreat on north coast
The ‘Band of Brothers’ from Mid Belfast Rural Deanery on their retreat in Dunluce.
A group of 17 men from Mid Belfast Rural Deanery, including some from other churches and none, went on retreat to the north coast recently.
Known as the ‘Band of Brothers,’ this was their third annual retreat, and was based at Dunluce Guide House near Portrush.
Ste Fitzgerald, Pioneer Evangelist at Connor’s Connect Base, said: “This started as a Rural Deanery Men’s group but is now attracting men from different churches and non-church goers too.
“We had 17 men at this weekend. Our time together was filled with the meals out, fun quizzes, Bible Study and worship.”
