The Archbishop of Armagh, the Most Rev Dr Richard Clarke, has appointed the Ven George Davison, Archdeacon of Belfast and rector of St Nicholas’, Carrickfergus, as Archbishop’s Commissary for the Diocese of Connor.
The Rt Rev Alan Abernethy retires on December 31 after 12 and a half years as Bishop of Connor. As we mark the occasion, we wish Bishop Alan and his wife Liz, every blessing for a happy and healthy retirement, and we thank him for all his has been to, and done for, this diocese over the years.
