Parish honours long-serving choir members

Parishioners from St Colmanell’s, Ahoghill, collected toiletries for Woman’s Aid at their Harvest. Both St Colmanell’s and Portglenone churches are now certified Safe Spaces.
Girls and leaders from West Division Senior Section Rangers based in St Matthew’s Church Hall, Belfast, were in London on Saturday October 7 for the Big Gig at London’s Wembley Arena.
A special presentation took place at Cloughfern Parish Church on October 8 to choir member Jennifer Boyd, who has notched up 50 years of service as a member of the choir.
A handwoven quilt belonging to Magheragall Parish has captured the interest of a media production company, and will feature in a televised roadshow on October 22.
The Church of Ireland Marriage Council is offering an opportunity for clergy and their spouses in Connor Diocese to attend a weekend retreat in the Hilton Templepatrick Hotel & County Club on February 10 and 11 2018.
St Nicholas’ Parish Church, Lisburn Road, Belfast, will be joining with Belfast South Methodist Church for two services this season.
The next diocesan youth event will be on Saturday December 2 when Connor Youth Council will be hosting its fantastic, extravagant and fun Christmas Party in St Patrick’s Halls, Ballymena.
September 30 2017 was an historic day at St Patrick’s, Ballyclug, part of the parish of Kilconriola and Ballyclug, for the two Churchwardens from St Patrick’s, Ballymena decided to ‘Tie the Knot.’
The Diocese of Connor was well represented at the Mothers’ Union General Meeting held in Edinburgh at the end of September.
